Is this a good gaming computer?

I'm open to recommendations for better parts. My limit for a gaming pc was 800 bucks and this sets me to around 706. I was thinking of upgrading the GPUT to a 580 which will be significantly higher but would it be necessary for what I want? I mainly want to run games such as battlefield 3, skyrim and games of that nature on the highest and I was told this build would be good for it. Any suggestions on what would be better or if this is fine?

CUP Intel Core i5-2500K
GPU GTX 560
RAM 8GB
Board ASUS P8Z68-V LX LGA

Listen to amuffin, that board is crap. Trust me, I have the LE, which is 1 step up, but still basically sucks. No problem with the quality, but if you ever plan on going very far with OC'ing, the 4+2 Phase VRM's will probably hold you back.

Edit: Not to mention that the LX doesn't even have heatsinks on the VRM's...

One thing I should have added earlier is that Vcore adjustment with that board is only possible with offsets. Setting a manual Vcore in the BIOS is NOT possible. Not the worst thing in the world, but it makes it a little more difficult to OC, until you understand how the offsets work.
