Wireless has about a 300 ft max range line of sight with no boosters. Anything you put in the way lessens that based on material used. Regular wall, signal will pass but will probably drop speed a tiny bit. Solid wall, will probably block all signal.

How about reading the thousands of documents available on WiFi? Go to your favorite search engine and type in "WiFi range".
