Hp printer trouble shooting

Hello,
I have in the office an HP P4015tn. We have to keep the botoom drawer (legal) open in order for stuff to print. It also is saying "Waiting for tray 3 to lift" Do you think its got a broken piece? Thanks! Trish

Probably. At least something isn't working right. Is the printer still under warranty?
