Nov 12, 2011, 11:29 PM
would the HD 6790 1GB be good enough should i use an i5 2500k and 8gb ram?
Not looking for Ultra settings (maybe high/very high)
but seeing as this guy can play at max settings with those specs I guess mine will run well?

6790 good skyrim

You'll be just fine with the settings you want. The big demand that Skyrim makes is on the CPU in areas crowded with NPCs and your i5 2500 is ideally suited for that task. It scales quite well with overclocking it too.
