Help with building a corei5 desktop

First off I have built desktops before but I want some advice. I want to build a desktop with a second generation i5 sandy bridge processor. My budget is between $600-$850. I am not a gamer, however I am going to going to medical school and from what friends have told me I need a decently beefy pc. I was just wondering if anyone had any specific suggestions as far as components. Any help would be much appreciated. I have already bought my processor: an intel i5-2500K.

I don't know all of the specifics yet but from what my friends have said its programs that require HD graphics. I wish I could be of more help here.
