Video card heat

Hello,
im having trouble keeping battlefield 3 running, it keeps crashing to desktop or just freezing saying" bf3 has stopped working" is this a ram issue or video card issue?

amd fx-4100
geforce 550ti
8gb gskill sniper 1600 ( 3.25 readable )
win7 32bit

what driver are you running? did you uninstall previous driver version correctly (uninstalling physx and 3d drivers via control panel, deleting nvidia folders, removal of main drivers via device manager, driversweep etc)

what in-game settings are you using for BF3? if you are using one of the presets (low, medium, high, ultra etc) try using custom and reduce or disable AA

I use EVGA Precision to monitor temps in-game. MSI Afterburner is also another popular one.

To monitor in-game temps with EVGA Precision, go to Configuration->Monitoring, Select GPU Temperature and check the "Show in On-screen display" box.

Why do you do not exchange your Win7 32-bit for a Win7 64-bit version?

This is a common issue with bf3. Your hardware isnt the issue here. Is your graphics card ASUS by any chance? Bf3 would crash after every round on my pc (''bf3 has stopped working''). I uninstalled ASUS OSD and voila, no more crashing!

There are other things causing these crashes as well. Do some google searching and you are bound to come up with a solution!

no i have a evga geforce 550ti, which programs make bf3 crash that are loaded on this card? or maybe its a program or glitch with my gigabyte motherboard?
