I7-920 good enough for a gtx 680?

Will my i7-920 cause a bottleneck with a GTX 680, or should I upgrade platforms?

Currently used for single monitor, 2d 1920 x 1080 gaming. (Diablo 3 when it arrives, starcraft, occasional shooters) I am considering going up to 2d 2560 x 1440 though.

currently :asus rampgage gene II, 6gb gtx 275, 3.5 easy OC.
