Hd6990 crashing?

Hey,

I've got a HD 6990 and it's been running perfectly until recently. I'm getting a problem where I get an audio and video freeze about 20mins into gameplay. The audio freeze sounds like that distorted noise crap you get on the BF3 trailer. At first I thought it was a feature of BF3 as I was playing the game at the time. But then it crashed to a bluescreen showing win32 error message. I get a kernal power error report on restart.

It's not just BF3 though as I'm getting it in other games now as well. And it doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes I can play games for hours without a problem (Bf3, Bad company etc..). Seems like a random thing (every other day).

My graphics card is hooked up to an Onkyo 809 amp via a HDMI cable that then goes straight to my LED TV. So the sound is being fed through the graphics card audio and not the Xfi. Could it be the Onkyo amp or graphics card audio causing the problem?

I haven't played the game using my X-fi audio on my PC monitor yet so I don't have a clearer idea of what's causing it.

My PC seems stable when doing Windows tasks. So it's just gaming that it appears unstable.

Here is my complete system setup:

Do not recognize the PSU you have a link? Although it is big enough question is always quality.
