One of my usb ports is not functional, it provides power but is not recognized by windows. I have a corsair 200r with a gigabyte h77 ds3h, i'm using a usb 3.0 to 2.0 converter because a pin on 3.0 header on my motherboard is bent. The other usb port works fine.

Any help would be appreciated, feel free to ask any other questions if you need more info.

are you making USB 2.0 to run as USB 3.0 through a converter .. probably it is not a device recognizable.

i'm not quite sure what you mean but i'm running usb 3.0 front panel ports to the converter which puts it into usb 2.0. The devices I have tried are all usb 2.0

To clarify to anyone who is reading this after the fact, the way i solved this was by asking corsair. They sent me new front panel connectors and after that it worked fine. Thanks corsair :)
