I found a deal at Newegg for a AMD 8350 cpu and a ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS mb for 319.00 dollars.
Is this a good deal? Or should I look at a better board for cheaper/more expensive or whatever?
I will use the computer for gaming and 2D, 3D creation and rendering.
In newegg the board is individually rated at 139.99$.However your board is said to support
AMD AM3+ FX™/Phenom™ II/Athlon™ II/Sempron™ 100 Series Processors
Supports AM3+ 32 nm CPU
Supports CPU up to 8 cores
Supports CPU up to 140 W
So as far as compatibility is concerned the board is a good one for the 8350
