Is a used computer with these components worth $800?

Antec 1200 Case
Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W PSU
Core 2 Quad Q9550
4GB DDR3 Corsair RAM
2x GeForce 9800 GTX+
1TB Western Digital HDD
EVGA nForce 790i FTW Motherboard
Freezer Pro 7 AC
Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1 Sound Card
Blu-Ray Disk Drive
+
Samsung 26" Flatscreen Monitor

Maybe I could knock down the price a bit, but would buying a system for $700 to $800 with these specifications from someone who has used it be worth it, incuding the monitor(the monitor is a little defective he says, it needs to kinda warm-up but works fine afterwards)? Please and thanks!

Battlefield 3 on High to Ultra settings with this system, 60FPS+ nearly constant?

I would not pay him anything for the monitor as it sounds to me if it could fail at any time.

TBH you could get a solid P67/Z68 based system for around that price, and with better GPUs. I'd say pass unless the guy gives you a REALLY good deal ($500 range).

Keep in mind that the 9800GTX won't be giving you DX11 effects. It's a good system, just not great these days.

to expensive for the age of the components and the monitor could let you go anytime

Its worth somewhere between $400-$500US. I would not pay more for it than that.
Actually the 9800's in SLI will still be pretty decent mid range gamers at DX10 level. Very good parts in the whole system when new, just starting to show their age.

I would skip it.

You should be able to find a better way to spend the same $800 on ebay.
