I ran memtest overnight, I was pretty sure my RAM was going bad. It was in its 13th hour this morning when I went to work out, with an 83 for error confidence. When I cam home an hour later, the screen was just black, and now the computer won't boot- it powers up, beeps, fans run, etc, but nothing shows up on the monitor.

I have tried switching the two RAM sticks in and out using the different slots to no avail. Is it time to just assume the RAM died and go out and buy new?

Yes replace the ram. Have you tried to use only 1 stick at a time? Maybe only 1 is bad and the other can hold you over until you get a new set.

I tried each stick once in each slot.

Just came home with some new RAM, popped it in and the same thing. Computer powers up, fans start, mobo beeps, and then... nothing.

It beeps? What is the code? It should be long and short beeps. Look it up in the mobo manual to see what the beeps mean.

Just tried a different HDMI cable- no video. This has to be mobo, right?
