Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

I'm not sure what you want to achieve but if you add a wireless networking adapter to your PC it will receive and transmit on the 2.4Ghz frequency so you can use a wireless router to access the Internet. You can't use it to broadcast radio signals very far into the outside world and in fact youi have to protect it from unauthorised access by securing the network.
