I haven't heard anything good about RAIDMAX, maybe change to a PSU from Corsair or XFX. Just a warning, Corsair RAM has high failure rates and 16 GB of it is definitely overkill unless u r doing CAD work or running a server.

Do you have an old SATA HDD you can recycle? Prices are high at the moment.

I'm liking your pick of motherboard and processor, but like some other people, I am sort of iffy on the PSU. Haven't had any real experience with Raidmax, but Corsair and Seasonic are definitely reliable. Might want to try Rkill, but that's just personal preference. Intel XMP certified and designed for second generation intel processors. Seems like the Corsair Vengeance is a little lower on the level. Try this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231473 a little cheaper and has pretty good styling if you're looking for it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139011 is another option for a 750w PSU.

Fast at what ? The 16GB or RAM and lack of dedicated GFX tells me that the build is intended for number crunching. If that's correct, then you might consider the 2600k/2700k as some of your apps may benefit from hyperthreading.

The RAM is certainly a solid choice, an alternative would be the Mushkins, Kingstons .... personally I avoid GSkills, too many bad compatibility experiences, but from watching the boards of late, seems I'm far from alone.

But again, 16GB id big for most most applications....video editing, number crunching, pgoto editing, rendering, CAD ....16GB is great.....gaming it's not gonna hep.

As for the RAIDmax brand, they ahve come along way on their case quality (tho not in is styling IMO) but I can't get behind their PSU's as yet. If budget is an issue here, you simply can't find a better PSU than the XFX Core Editions (all 9.5 jonnyguru performance rated) in their price range.
