Approximate Purchase Date: 1-2 Weeks.

Budget Range: Around 700.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (Running smooth + Video Capture software --> Video editing software)

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS, 550 Watt Golden Field PS (Re use if I can) and 500GB Seagate 7200

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.ca

Country: Canada

Parts Preferences: iCore preferred.

Overclocking: Maybe (If I knew the benefits)

SLI or Crossfire: Is this what I should of put instead of x2 Graphics cards? I would like the option.

Monitor Resolution: Unsure. Whichever works for, what Im going for?

Additional Comments: I read up on some similar price builds but reallyyy havent a bloody clue. I would like to re-use the power supply, but understand if it's not powerful enough.

You know it's a sad day when your Laptop has better Specs than your current Desktop :\

Thank you very much sir. I assume 550 Watt is sufficient? Also, With that Mobo, Would I be able to upgrade GPU later? Say i7 2600 ish?

Yes 550W is enough now. Yes with that mobo you can upgrade even to i7 2600k or Ivy Bridge new processors because is supported
In the future you can upgrade GPU and you can use 2X gpus' for SLI or Crossfire setup. For future SLI ( 2 X GPU's) you must to upgrade your power supply.

Yes that is the one. Reasons why you would not use? Lack of constant wattage? orr?

Also, what do you suggest?

Also also, when using a Hardrive with OS and all my stuff already on it, do I have to wipe it and start over with the new mobo? or plug i play (for lack of better words)

While it's possible that some of the items may work if you just plug the hard drive in (the OS may or may not work - and if it's Windows would certainly require re-activation), it's always better to start fresh with a new build, I've found. So I'd format the hard drive and start again (be sure to move you data to a different partition/drive that you don't format though!)

Good looking out Inan. Im not entirely sure what data I would want to move or what data I would not want to format but good tip.

Superb. Any other case recommendations? That one seems to have issues.

Edit: Also recommendations on PSU?

Excellent, I believe I have my new PC!

Edit: I lied. With shipping and taxes it brings it up to 900+. Will be combinb through the free shipping units and come back with a solution.
