No wireless connection to Ipod touch

Hello,
I have just bought a TP Link Modem Router; the computer connects ok but the ipod or PS3 won't connect. The ipod finds TP Link but when I enter the password I get "unable to join the network" when I initially set up the router I selected the most secure setting, could this be the problem. I had a netgear router before this which worked fine with the ipod and ps3.

I'm not sure about the iPod but I believe the PS3 can probably only handle WEP security which is the lowest level of security.
