GT 440 2GB DDR3 compatibility issues with

Nvidia GT 440 2GB DDR3 compatibility issues with:

•Asus P5SD2-VM DDR2 (cleaned the ports esp. the pci-e)
•Pentium® Dual-Core E5200 2.5Ghz (newly applied thermal paste)
•Kingston 2GB DDR2 RAM(x 2 PIECES)
•Corsair CX430 (Brand new, a week old)
•Seagate SATA 150Gb (Wiped out and with fresh installed OS)
•Both WinXP sp3 32bit & Win7 64bit
•3 exhaust and 3 intake fans, so heat is not an issue.

This is what happens to my computer with the GT 440 2gb ddr3 on and with latest firmware: (100% working and was put through the stress/benchmark test)

10 seconds into the game? Or any game? It freezes and restarts.





Now, with the 8400 gs Sparkle Nvidia 512mb? Works like a charm, even after using the pc in 3 days straight. FLAWLESS.


What's causing the problem then?

Do you have another system you can try the GT 440 in? Looks like either a very bad compatibility problem, or the GPU itself is faulty.

The gpu is brand new,a week. It passed the shops benchmark/stress test where i bought it,and was told that it is 100% working with 0 error(s).

What benchmarks/games have you tried, and do those that fail show the same artifacting?

I didnt see the whole test and the games that theyve used. But they told me, it passed and it is 100% working with zero error(s).
