500+ watt psu for dell c521

I need a 500watt PSU for a Dell Dimension Compact 521.

I don't know how to buy a power supply unit for a compact computer, so I was wondering what you guys would recommend? I don't even know if this model will work with a 500watt PSU, so if this is the case, what is the highest PSU I can get for it?

I'm trying to get an NVIDIA GeForce 260 to work in this machine - will this video card run in this computer even if I can get the right PSU?

I don't think they come any larger than 280W and from their shape I believe they are proprietary (which means they must be purchased from Dell). Here's what they look like:
