Hi
I'm after some feedback for my yet to build system - My main concern is what PSU to get, i was hoping to keep this cheap at about 20-30 so any recommendations?
Baring in mind like pretty much everybody nowadays I'm trying to keep to a pretty tight budget!!!
This is my spec so far and through ebuyer comes to approx £640:
*G-Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz Ripjaws £41
*Gigabyte GA-Z68P-DS3 Z68 £72
*Intel Core i5 2500K £172
*Asus GTX 560Ti £172
*Casecom 6788 All Black Case £30
*Seagate 500GB 3.5" SATA-III 6Gb/s £62
*Samsung SH-222AB Optical Drive £12
*Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit £70

I realise the CPU might be a bit overkill, but would like this for longevity.
Any feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated - i intend to do most of my gaming over headphones - so not interested in a soundcard.
Thanks

I would get 1333mhz RAM instead, and spend the little extra money on a PSU. You can go with a 550 watt, or higher. Corsair and BeQuiet good, but expensive ones. Dont go too cheap as a crap PSU can destroy alot if it freaks out and explodes or something.

But so far looks good. I wouldn't get a hardrive right now if you can help it. HD prices are crazy because of flooding in thailand, and so you could just an SSD now, and a HD later. (but if the HD is still alot cheaper, sure, go for it.)

I was thinking of a little light OC'ing in the future if required for gaming and Im not particularly bothered about SLI. An SSD would be nice in the future but my current budget wont quite stretch - my wife's pretty ruthless with the purse strings I'm afraid!

If your not going to go with SLI I would get a 600W from a good brand, Corsair, SeaSonic, Antec, or XFX are all good. Like max said don't cheap out on your PSU but I would find the best deal from a good brand.

Good luck!
