Ok... so shopping for a new HDD (now that the combo deal incentive doesn't work - that was the burner).. and these prices suck. Sooooo I'm thinking I'm gonna buy a 60 gb SSD (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233223) and play for a few months before I'll need more storage.

At that point, hopefully the mechanicals have come down in price and I'll pick up a TB.

Well guys I've been fortunate. No bad parts, everything went together smoothly.

I've since bought a 500GB WD Caviar Blue for extra storage and plan to buy the Hyper 212 heatsync to do some overclocking. I bought the Intel Performance Tuning plan so no reason not to.

The SSD is awesome. I can cold boot in under 30 seconds and still have 20GB free after Windows, Office, and Skyrim. Gave my old system to the little brother so he's happy.

Thanks for your help.
