Purchased the LCD1712, rated at 16ms response time, 400:1 contrast ratio, and 1280 x 1024 max res. I set it up, found some drivers for the monitor, but everything on the screen casts a very faint shadow. You have to look close to the screen, but its there and its annoying.(shadow is visible to the right of object, i.e. window frame) Is there a way to fix this or is it a faulty monitor? Could it be my Video Card, Radeaon 7200 64DDR RAM?
I can't fix this broblem, so I will return this monior back to future shop within the warranty time...

Perhaps you have some interference on your monitor cable. I have a samsung 170s lcd screen, and if I use an extension cable, I get a slight ghost. Or perhaps your screen just came with a crappy cable, and you need one with better shielding. That is an analog based screen, right?
I removed a monitor cable extension and the problem is fixed, no more shadows.( But if you relly look closely in the native resolution you will still see it, that's if you are a perfectionist).
Yeap this monitor is a 16ms, got it from future shop. I dunno i think this model is an early version of the NEC 1760NX.
