Can\'t unistall cairo 18 windows 8.searchbar and graphics

Hello. I hope someone can help me i downloaded Mozilla Firefox 18 for windows 8 it came with a nasty surprise. Cario has taken over my search address bar it is also located in my list of graphics. my husband an I have tried everything from uninstalling Mozilla Firefox to reinstalling there is nothing in my control panel no tool bar the only way it shows up is in my search address bar and my graphics. i am very worried about my private information being seen by others. CAN YOU HELP?
