That's screen tearing, which will occur in games if you're pulling frame rates which are above your monitor's refresh rate.
  2. Oh wow. I don't know what it is but are all your drivers up to date? Hopefully someone can give you a better answer.
  3. maybe push the plug in harder? this has happened to me before, and it usually turns out to be a loose cable...

if that doesn't work, try booting into safe mode. then, if it still looks like that, you may have a broken card or a bad screen...

i used the same cable for the Geforce 210 and nothing happen while gaming..
it didnt appear at booting tho
  5. As feartrich said, boot it in safe mode and see if that has any effect.
  6. you may also want to check if your PSU is supplying enough power, or if the card is putting too much stress on the PSU

you don't need a lot of power to run a 6670 though (300W should be fine), so it's probably the crappy AMD drivers since you said you arent getting any problems at boot. if safe mode looks OK, try different versions of drivers and if that doesnt work, RMA your video card for a new one

  8. Hi, i have the same issue with that card. Suddenly in game screen is splitting and i have striples. After restart all back to normal. I connected another monitor when this bug come, and resultat was the same. It's totatally randomly, but in 99% ive got this in League of Legend. One time it happened when i was watching youtube. I've tried drivers 11.9, 11.1 and now im testing 11.5. I dont know what can i do else. Pls advice me what to do.

I dont have any artifacts, only this striples and split screen in 99% in LoL. I've passed MW3 without any problem. I've played Skyrim without trouble. Only 1 time it happened when i was watching youtube, and it was weird cause small part of monitor was blinking (near the left corner). After restart computer it was fine.

    My hardware:
    Chieftec 450W
    Core2Duo 2.8GHz
    2 hard disks
    4GB DDR2
    6670 DDR5 1GB
    EP43-DS3L

    System: Windows 7 64bit

probably you don't have enough Power supply to your system cause i tried to downclocking my HD6670 and the issue disappear try it
  10. Not enough power? Card doensnt need much power. I had GF9800GT for a long time, and everything was ok. 6670 doesnt even have extra power line... Anyway card goes to service.
