Fully control my CPU fan?

I think you can do that on the BIOS

your better to leave the cpu fan be controlled by the bios and motherboard,if the cpu get to hot it will cut off and you could damage it so you wont need having to buy a new one

Well, I want to increase my fan speed, not decrease.
That'll cool it down.

akxpckwb: There are no settings whatsoever about fan speed in my BIOS. I checked all of the categories more than 5 times.

uncheck the auto for fan speed in speed fan and put alll fan to 100,give the name and model of your motherboard

Zendesk is for OS X, I have Windows.
My motherboard is an ASRock N68c-S UCC.

By the way, I know someone with exactly the same components as me (Phenom II X6 1055T, same motherboard, etc) and he can put his fan speed up to nearly 7000RPM.

If you need to run a fan at such high RPMs to keep core temperatures within a range you feel comfortable with, you might want to seriously consider upgrading your HSF. Most fans don't last very long at extreme RPMs and that thing must be ridiculously loud too.

Asrock should have asrock extreme tuner, though i don't know if it'll work for AMD! GO to asrock's website and find your board and go to utilities. There should be a fan control software somewhere.

What version of windows do you have?
Anyways, select the correct one and download OC tuner.

My fans are now fast. I don't know what I did, but I think I changed the minimum speed to 100% then restarted.

Now, they are almost always from 4000 - 6000 RPM.

If your CPU fan is running at 4000+RPM and your core temperature is still hitting 80C, you probably need a better heatsink-fan or at least double-check that it is still operating and mounted correctly.

My PC has a Hyper 212+ HSF and my CPU is only hitting 55C with the fan at 700RPM and 30C room temperature, only 1/10th the fan speed you are seeking.
