I built a computer last year that I ended up parting out and selling, but I kept my PSU; however, I'm pretty sure it won't cut the mustard for my new proposed build. The PSU I kept is a Corsair CMPSU 750tx and I'm thinking a step up to the 850 version will be needed.

Approximate Purchase Date: March

Budget Range: $1,600

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, School

Parts Not Required: Need everything

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: I7 2500k, 2 x XFX 2GB 6950, 8gb G.skill DDR3 1600, Zalman 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler, NZXT Phantom Full Size Tower, Samsung Spinpoint M8 (Good lord HDD prices skyrocketed since last year!), Asus 23" VS238H-P, ASUS P8P67 Evo

Overclocking: Yup

SLI or Crossfire: Yup

Monitor Resolution: It's my TV, sooo...1080P

Additional Comments: want it to be quiet, no water cooling, great graphics

I got the 850 for future x-fire with my 6950 2gb, I would upgrade to be safe if your planning on x-fire or your 750 should be good if you switch to the 7970 as sosofm suggested.

Newegg has $10 off promo on corsair psu's right now too, til the 16th

Thanks for the quick replies. I thought the p67 boards were better than the z68 boards, any reason why you recommended that board, or is it personal preference. Really, I don't care either way as long as its a solid board.
