Belkin pre-n

I am currently trying to install a wifi setup in a older two story house with plaster (chicken wire) walls and ceilings. Would the Belkin pre-n (F5D8230-4) Router be a good way of extending coverage throughout the house? I should note that with a Microsoft G Router Good reception is achieved one room away from the router on the same floor(25 feet) and excellent reception on the floor directly abiove the router but outside the house (75 feet) and in the extreme edges of each floor the reception is near or at zero.

MIMO should help but you won't really know what you'll get until you try. If the chicken wire is a tight guage it may not matter what you try in there. Test and see unfortunately is the only way you'll know for sure. Golden rule with wireless.
