Hey I got this PNY XLR8 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz installed on a Asus M2A97 R2.0 motherboard. This motherboard is capable of handling 1600mhz memory. So with this being said, why would my ram be running at 1333 instead? When I auto it runs at 1333. I can manually set it to 1600 but according to the benchmark tests it is still operating at 1333... anyone have any clue why this might be? I have the latest bios upgrade btw

try going into your BIOS and looking to see what the RAM speed is set for, if it's on auto, try manually setting it to the right speed, just make sure you have your timings set correctly. all I can find for that card is that the CAS is 9.

I went into the bios and set it at 1600. According to CPU-Z the memory is clocked at 800 MHZ SO it is supposed to be running at 1600... But when I do a benchmark test with it at 1333 and 1600 the difference is almost nothing. 1600 got a 1266 score and the 1333 got like 1230 score... the case is supposed to be 9-9-9-24 at 1333 and 1600... I'm just so confused with this.. it makes no sense
