Hi!
I want to know if there is a way to repair this (see photo) by replacing a piece or something?

This is where the cable of the LCD screen is normally plugged.
Story:
I had a minor problem on my screen, so I sent it back to ASUS to get it repaired.
I has been fixed quite quickly, but 30sec after the laptop was turned on, the screen went completely black!
So I opened the machine and found that the LCD cable was really damaged at the level of the screen jointure (so probably caused by opening/closing the screen, I think the cable was not at the right place).
Anyway I ordered a new cable but it still doesn't work, that does not surprise me considering the state of the motherboard....
If I can't repair this I plan to use this laptop as desktop computer since except the screen, it still working fine.
Thank you for your advices,
Adrien
