Hi there.
I bought a new motherboard
ASUS P8Z77-V LK with Intel Core i5 Processor
It has integrated graphics processor
Intel HD Graphics 4000.
I use all the same stuff as befor this new
system.I'm having Windows 7 Pro.

Trying to open ANY videofile
with Media Player Classic produces
message below:

___________________________________
Error creating EVR Custom renederer

CreateDevice failed
Error code 0x8876086A
DX9AllocatorPresenter failed

D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE
____________________________________

However the movie plays ok!

Windows Mediaplayer works ok - no errors.

Also MPC doesnt allow subtitles.

When I go and look:
Device Manager --> Intel HD Graphics 4000 Properties --> General

--> Device status

__________________________________________________________________________
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other

devices on this system.

Resources tab says:

Resource settings:
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use.

If you want to use this this device, you need to disable one of the
other devices on this system.

Hmm,

1) which iGPU driver version are you using, is it the one from the support CD or did you download from ASUS or Intel?

2) There is a chance the system is not fully stable, hence driver errors. If it's a pre-configured however, the vendor should have tested it before selling it to you.

3) Is related to number 2 above, check the CPU socket for any bent/misaligned pins.

Hi, Raja. Ty for your answer.
I bought the board and installed it myself.

1) I tried one on the CD and also tried update it and after that
tried one from Intel-site. All behaved the same.

2) System is the most probable reason ( I hope) and I will try to
re-install all from scratch and will report after that.

3) CPU is put carefully on its place and I dont believe it is misaligned
as it is very clearly marked and shaped to place it correctly.

Hi,

1) Use the ones from the Intel site.

2) Make sure the system is fully stable. Memory issues can interfere with the iGPU stability in a BIG way.

3) The CPU sitting correctly in the socket is not what I am referring to. The pins underneath the processor in the socket need to be checked in case any were bent at some point during installation of the motherboard or CPU. This is unlikly, but it does happen to some users. I am leaning towards some kind of setup issue on your side between drivers, the OS and setup, however.
