Hello, there. I admit that I don't quite know how to figure this stuff out - why I'm here, really. Basically what it says on the can: I'm looking to upgrade my Radeon HD 6450. Unfortunately, I have the h8-1010 model and got it late September.

Budget wise, I want something less than $200. (Really, what I could use without changing the PSU if at all possible.)

What I want out of the thing is to be able to play games like Fable III, The Last Remnant, Dragon Age II, Mass Effect 2, etc. without random noticeable frame-dips or freeze-frames. Settings aren't terribly important to me as long as it's somewhat better than what I have.

Spec-wise, the link above should work. If not - or if you need more information - be prepared to walk me through it. (And please be patient.)

What power supply do you have, particularly the amps on the +12V rail(s)? If you only have 20 amps, then you might get by with the 6770. If you have more than 20 amps, like 30, then you might consider Nvidia's GeForce 560 (non-Ti).

buy gtx 550ti or 6790 they will cost around 160$ and change the psu also

6790 wants more power and give more perfomance

gtx 550ti wants low power and like 5-10% less performance

for 6790 you have to buy a 80+ efficeny psu of 500watt
