Hello,

I currently have an HP Pavilion a6130n with a nvidia 7300 gt card in it. Rest is stock.

What would be the best bang for buck upgrade I could get for under $150?

More/better ram? PCU? Better graphics card?

Thanks in advance!

You can probably run this on a power supply of 380 Watts.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125391 $99 less $20 rebate. I never count on rebates.
GTX 260. A 260 core 216 would be a step up if you can find one.
Don't know what memory you have, HP says either 3 or 4 GB which should be OK.
I wouldn't spend a whole lot of $$ on the set up. Trying to upgrade the CPU would be a waste. AM2 CPU's are hard to find and overpriced.

I have 3 GB RAM. Not sure on psu, whatever came with the machine when I bought it in 2007.

This post was made when I was trying to set up my account and it did not seem to work and then I forgot about it. I made another post on this topic.

My apologies for posting twice on the same topic and thanks for your replies.

Heres the link to the other thread.
