I have a Intel core 2 Duo e7400 processor nd currently i'm using Intel DG31PR motherborad. I want to buy a GIGABYTE motherboard compatible with this processor. So, please suggest some model numbers of such motherboards within Rs. 5000-6000.

I doubt you would find any socket 775 motherbaords available in India, they are even scarce in the US.

There are a few you can try in India, but I doubt. You would need to get DDR3 memory as well as the newer 775 boards do not support DDR2.

In my opinion, save up for a new 1155 socket motherboard and CPU.

you have g31, g41, p45, etc.

just look for the chipsets for lga 775
