I am about to buy the Sennheiser PC360s. I am going to be using these for gaming. What would be a good sound card to go along with this? I heard you need an amp to get the full power of the headset. Is the amp built into the sound card? If not what amp should I get?

Sound cards have the power to support headsets, no matter how loud you want them. I've never heard of this Sennheiser PC360. Can you link it?

Surprised you never heard of them. They are supposed to be really good. Added a link to OP.

Asus Xonar would work nicely with those (~$160).

The PC360's are a good PC headset.

I wouldn't touch the Recond3D line with a 10-foot poll. Horrible soundcard.

Easiest solution would be the ASUS Xoanr DX, which is quite capable of pushing the PC360's, while costing less then Creatives offerings.
