I am trying to build a super budget HTPC. I already have a hard drive:

Western Digital 500 GB Caviar Blue SATA 3 Gb/s 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Desktop Hard Drive

So I put together a super budget Motherboard/CPU/case/Memory/Video combo. How does it look?

Type Item Price
CPU Intel Celeron G530 2.4GHz Dual-Core Processor $51.99 @ Newegg
Motherboard ECS H61H2-M2(1.0) Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard $29.99 @ Newegg
Memory Crucial 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory $18.99 @ Newegg
Video Card HIS Radeon HD 5450 1GB Video Card $27.99 @ Microcenter
Case Logisys CS206BK ATX Mid Tower Case w/480W Power Supply $30.99 @ SuperBiiz
Total
Prices include shipping and discounts when available. $159.95

It will work but those Logysis PSU's can be a bit noisy. Hopefully you will get a good one.

I agree that a mid tower will also be somewhat large for an HTPC.

If the PSU does tun out to be noisy, this would be a good replacement. High quality and quiet. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Ok thanks for the heads up. Maybe I will buy the components besides for the case and wait for a decent deal on a Case/PSU
