Hello, I was wondering what would be the best video card for gaming that is compatible with the ASUS P8Z68 - V Pro Intel Z68 1155 motherboard.
I am planning to use an Intel i5 2500k as the processor. This is my first time building a computer by the way and I would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Any PCI Express based video card will work on that motherboard. The i5 2500k can handle virtually any GPU setup out there. Your main limitations for the video card will be your budget, and your power supply.

What power supply do you have, and how much are you willing to spend on a video card?

You won't need a 700W PSU for any card that you can get for $100-$150 (or pretty much ANY single card/single GPU setup, regardless of price). In that price range though, go for a GTX 550 Ti or Radeon HD 6850.
