6990m Issue

Hello i have been playing Skyrim, and i got a C++ error, and after that skyrim lowered my graphics, and isn't running as well as it use to, wondoring if anyone has any ideas, and if keeping my saves and uninstalling/reinstalling will help.

Strange, I'd start off by verifying the gamecache through Steam just to check nothing's got corrupted.
Might also be worth poking around in your config file (steam>steamapps>common>skyrim etc) and checking everything there is as it should be.

If all else fails backing up your saves and re-installing should sort it out
