Nvidia problems with 64bit windows 7

Screen goes blank then recovers right away and a message appears stating Nvidia has recovered from a problem. windows mail screen has obly half the information on screen and I have to close it and open it again.

My system is 64bit Windows 7. New Samsung laptop.

Any ideas ?

Drivers - uninstall all your drivers, do a driver sweep; reinstall drivers.

If this doesn't work, then it's something else.

That message can show up when a card has been physically damaged as well, like from heat and/or over-overclocking. Return it if you can. Even if the computer may return to normal working condition now, the same problem is most likely to come back soon.

Don't do anything except take it straight back and tell them you want one that works.
Why would anyone want to spend time and money trouble shooting a brand new product? Make them give you what you paid for!
