Not sure for upgrade

Ok i have a old rig it's sitting with a 5850 radeon it's currenty clocked at 950/1200.
Should i wait for 7000 series to upgrade this computer or just buy another 5850 and overclock it? but since this power supply in the case is a ocz 700w modstream pro it only has 1x6+2 and 1x 6 pin would it be a hassle to find adapters for molex to 2x6 pin?

The specs are amd 1090t@ 4ghz, 4gb ddr3, Biostar ta870u3+, 90gb corsair ssd sata III.
