I am looking to build a budget gaming system for my children, mainly used for SWtOR and web browsing.

The budget is ~$400-$500, but lower is better as long as the system is upgradable.

I would like to be able to OC in the future (Mobo).

If the Intel integrated graphics will run SWtOR, I am fine with using that for now.

Here is what I have so far:

ASRock Z68 PRO3 GEN3

i3 2100 or i5 2500k (not sure here; looking for best value advice)

Antec 300 Case

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular 80 Plus PSU
Sony Optiarc 24X DVD Burner

Need help with picking RAM (2x2 or 2x4? and brand) and a value HDD (doesn't have to be huge).

Please tell me your suggestions and/or advice.

Thanks.

If you are looking for an inexpensive budget system, you are barking up the wrong tree with Intel. You would be much better off looking at an AMD based system. You could grab an AMD A8-3870 and the built in GPU will easily handle SWtOR just fine. This chip is also overclockable on both the CPU and GPU side. Get a CoolerMaster 212 EVO for $30-$40 and your cooling needs will be well taken care of. Someone else will have to chime in on a good motherboard for the A8. It is socket FM1 if you want to search. The better boards will have heat sinks around the CPU socket to cool the voltage regulators. Just a tip...

Lastly, this setup will benefit greatly from high speed memory, be sure to look for DDR3-1600 or higher to get the best out of it. But memory is cheap, so take advantage of it now.
