I am stuck in a 'situation' where I have access to only an old RIG at my Dad's place. I'll be stuck here till next year. I "CANT" do any major upgrade. But I want to continue playing skyrim at any settings (low/medium?).
Below is the configuration of the pc.
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Today
USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming Skyrim.
CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: 7600GT (PCIe 1.0) with 500W PSU
OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: E6400 @2.1hz, 2GB DDR2 Ram, P965 Gigabyte Mobo
OVERCLOCKING: Yes
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1366 x768
I have about $100-150 to spend. And I only want to invest on a GPU and probably 2GB more RAM. If I get any suggestions real quick, I would buy the things today from local shop. I am from UAE. The prices are approximately 20-30% higher than in US.
It would be great if anyone could suggest GPU which would support PCIe 1.0 and better than 7600GT for gaming?
My power supply Config is as below:
+3.5v - 30A
+5v - 38A
+12v - 23A
+5v SB - 2A
-5v - 0.5A
-12v - 1 A
Total power is 500 W.
