Is the same as i5-3750K mentioned in the THG article, except that Dec 2011 article got the identifier wrong.

dont buy from newegg.com its $70 more expensive than microcenter and $40 more than tigerdirect.com. they are ripping people off.

though with microcenter you have to go to the store to get that price. but you can also get a motherboard with it for cheap. as low as $89 for two of the models
