Amd or Intel Cheap Build?

I saw the cheap intel build on here and decided to tweak it a bit and i already had one amd in mind but i was wondering which one would be better? the difference is literally 1 cent and i do realize intel is the better brand but it seems like im getting more bang for buck from the AMD build. im no expert and i dont know if ill be bottlenecking or something and would like other peoples opinions. Also i dont have to worry about a case because i have a spare one from my uncle.

More about intel cheap build
  1. The Intel i5 is much faster than the AMD processor and should be the preferred choice. The AMD system is very expensive given the processor cost I am sure that significant savings could be made here.
  2. okay so there is no bottle necking or anything that would happen because of the motherboard or something?
  3. I would really prefer to go with a 6850, more bang for the buck
  4. yeah i was thinking about that also it seems like im gonna go with that instead of the 550ti :)

    No.
  6. Say no to the 550Ti. Either go with a Radeon 6850 for an extra $10 or a 6790. If you want to stay nVidia then find a GTX 460. While the Intel build is a better value I say get either a Z68 or P67 board that supports crossfire (and sli if you go nvidia) so that you can upgrade and OC a CPU latter even if that means dropping down to a I3 for now
