I accidently turned on FilterKeys (by holding the shift
key down for 8 seconds), and now I can't figure out how to
get it off.... I tried holding the shift key down for
another 8 seconds, but I can't tell if it turned off or
not. The little FilterKeys icon is still down there next
to the clock, and it won't go away. I've tried following
the tutorial to turn it off through the Control Panel, but
I can get as far as "Accessability Options" before I get
lost, because I can't find the "keyboard tab" that they
refer to. Any help? Thanks!

Hi,

Open control panel
double click on the accessibility options icon
see the first tab "keyboard" it will have the "filter keys" check box checked.
uncheck it and then click on apply.
