PPPoE router with repeater

Hello,

I am using a PPPoE connection on a linksys WRT54G router and trying to set up an Edimax EW-7206APg to extend my wireless connection range.

I followed the instructions given on the Edimax manual, but that seems to be for a DHCP connection. Is there anything different I need to do to configure the Edimax repeater on a PPPoE connection?

My router IP ("Local IP address") shows 10.10.0.1 instead of the "192.168.1.1" that all the documentation online seems to suggest. What am I doing wrong?

are you trying to connect the Edimax to the Linksys via network cable?

Sorry I missed to mention that - No, I am trying to connect them wirelessly. Of course, while configuring it I am connecting it through a LAN cable and following instructions on the Edimax manual.
