Internet Connection Sharing through laptops PCMIA Modem

Is there a way for me to connect my desktop PC to my laptop, & use the laptops EDGE/GPRS modem in the PCMIA slot of the laptop to access the Internet? I also have a wireless router that is not being used for anything, however, I use the laptop to get online, & I'd like to share that connection with my desktop at home. Thanks
