During a recent trip to Scotland we bought an O2 X2, a BenQ S670C branded
by and locked to the UK O2 network. It is a 900/1800/1900 MHz GSM phone.
Now that we're back home in the USA the phone can detect the AT&T Wireless
and T-Mobile networks, but I have not been able to figure out how to make
any calls. I want to use the phone with a SIM from a US network, but need
to get the phone unlocked. So far I've found two shops, one in England
and one in France, who say they can do it. Ideally I'd like to find
somebody who can do it by remote codes. Next best would be somebody in
the USA, so I would not have to deal with Customs in both directions.
Any ideas?
