Power adapter for cpu fans

Hello;

I have a 3 pin fan for cpu and i want it run on 24v, can i connect the 2 power wires to the adapter then connect the 3rd wire to the motherboard to monitor it's rpm via bios or speedfan ?!

No the fan is designed for 12v, not 24...but the 3rd wire idea will work fine.
