Hello Tom's Hardware community,

I would like to do a quick upgrade and since i haven't been up to date with tech for quite some time i'd ask you to help me out.
My specs: Intel E5200 Dual-core @ 3.00GHz OC'ed
Nvidia Gainward GTX 260 868 MB (the oced 16 shader model)
4 gigs of DDR 2-800 RAM
and a less known but reliable 500 Watt PSU
Would i benefit at all from upgrading to ..say this :
http://www.pcgarage.ro/placi-video/msi/radeon-hd6670-1gb-ddr5-128-bit/ or any other similar performance card (or better). My limited budget is around 150 $ (havn't done the conversion but around 400 RON in my country). I'm currently playing Skyrim and it runs ok-ish but in high action sequences i get serious frame drops. Would installing a better video card help out with my performance? I'm aware that my rig is quite old but my wallet only allows for a quick upgrade. Thanks in advance.

No, that would not be considered an upgrade from your current video card. You would need to jump up to something like a GTX560, or a 5870 to feel like you are getting much of an improvement at all over your current card.
