Ok so I'll keep this short and simple. I was playing TF2 when suddenly my system just shuts down (in less than a second). I try turning it on and nothing works. I thought it was the MoBo at first but then after a little of turning the PSU on and off and unplugging/plugging in the power cord, the system turns on and I see sparks flying out of the PSU. I automatically turn off and unplug it... I wait a bit and try turning it on again and it works, no sparks (although there is a lingering burning smell). So now I'm here as quickly as I could get on. Is using my system safe right now? And how safe? What are the risks? Please answer quickly as I am pretty nervous. This is a $1000 newly built gaming rig and I'm worried.

Thank in advance. REALLY appreciate it!

Solution
Using the PSU is not safe right now.

I would replace it as soon as possible.

Preferably with an Enermax one.

You probably also want to take out a video card or something too.

What is your FPS in TF2? Like 200?
