No, sorry. Only a 460 can with a 460 and a 560 with a 560.

Yes that's true. You're only able to CF different models within the same series in AMD cards such as HD 6970 with HD 6950 or HD 6870 with HD 6850. But you can't CF HD 6950 with HD 6850.

For nVidia neither the same series or different models are available for SLI.
